Substance - the one and only reality that exists in and through itself, possessing the capacity for self-understanding from within its own nature. Whether manifest as Nature, Humanity, or Matter, all are inseparable expressions of the same necessary order. Once isolated, they cease to be independent beings and remain only necessary modes of a single, infinite, immutable, and immanent reality.
